Middleton Hall Farmers and Craft Market

28th July 2013

July 28th marked the 3rd Farmers and Craft market in the beautiful grounds of Milddleton Hall near Tamworth.  It has been going now since May 2013, on the last Sunday of every month and seems to be going from strength to strength.IMG_2459

This month they had around 30 local producers, with both some fantastic crafty items available to buy including Sew Vintage, and Bandana Boutique and also some great foodie stalls both to buy from and to have a little bite to eat along the wayIMG_2464 –  we had some samples from The Curry Man and bought some to take home for dinner. Had we not just eaten lunch we certainly would have had a pork bap from the hog roast by Daniel Ellis as well!

Parking is free and dogs are more than welcome and there was even face painting for the kids  and some spectacular birds on show from IMG_2414Buzzard Valley Falconry, so it makes a great family trip out!

We bought back some fab produce including some amazing duck eggs,IMG_2421 really delicious homemade fudge by Forteys and some great strawberries and huge juicy blackberries from Manor Farm FruitsIMG_2423

We will definitely be back next month armed with a bit more cash and have a better look at the craft stalls too!IMG_2461
