Lichfield Food Festival in Pictures

7th September 2013

Last weekend we popped along to Lichfield Food Festival. Unfortuntaly we only had time for a short visit, but still mananged to circulate round a lot of the producers, and of course, have a bit to eat! We picked up some great local veg, cheese, a few fresh savoury pastries from Packington Moor Farm Stall, and great bottle of Pinot Noir from a local vineyard – Buzzards Valley, as well as another bottle of Pips Hot Sauce – love the stuff!

Here is a whistle stop of our visit in pictures.

Exotic Burgers anyone?

We tried an Ostrich Burger – rich juicy meat – yum!

There were some great paellas on show…

Buzzards Valley Winery. Local and delicious.

Fresh Veg…….

…..and fruit. So much better than the supermarket

Platinum Pancakes – flipping fabulous
We went for simplicity – lemon and sugar. The best

Welshcakes for sale

A new energy drink?

Packington Pastries

Cheeses galore; we picked up some wild garlic, caerphilly and a lovely reblochon

And finally, the gorgeous River

A trip to Lichfield is not complete without a quick walk to the river, with its views of the beautiful Cathedral.

Howdy great blog! Does running a blog similar to this
require a large amount of work? I’ve very little understanding of programming however I was hoping to start my
own blog soon. Anyhow, if you have any suggestions or techniques
for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off
subject however I simply needed to ask. Thanks!
